Stonewater Consulting Group has recruited three heavy hitters from the Australian executive recruitment industry and has opened a new office in prestigious Sydney city location. The firm's directors, together with a hand-picked team of local recruitment professionals, aims to compete with the large international executive search firms and is touting itself as a tier-one local firm. The Leadership Team are convinced they will be able to beat the international recruitment agencies on specialised experience and personal service and have an edge on large competitors in sourcing the best jobs and candidates because of the principals' extensive contacts and success at the highest levels in the Australian commercial and financial services sectors.

Initially, SCG will have it’s Asia-Pacific head office here in Sydney, with plans to open additional offices in Melbourne and Brisbane within the next 18 months. The firm has already started to generate a brisk business. "We started with several key assignments and demand has been constant in the first months of operating" a Principal within the business remarked.
